In between all the notes we scribble outlining our chores, things to buy, places to be, we don’t stop to think about what they all mean. What’s not written down and almost invisible in all those notes is the message that we have a life to tend to. It needs managing and structure. It needs care and attention. Our lives, between all the lists of things to do, need to thrive.
How we make it thrive is an individual journey. Our relationships to others help us thrive and if we pay attention to our spirit & soul, they can too. But we also have to keep our bodies fit and healthy. Exploring the world through art, books, theater and movies can do it or traveling to other lands to experience how other people make their lives thrive is helpful too.
We’ll explore all of those subjects and beyond in the pages of Thrive. We can talk about our book clubs, and what’s a better way to cope with a cranky teenager. How do we stay fit & trim with all the delicious temptations at food stores, restaurants and coffee shops? And what are some great little get-away ideas or goof off with our friends.
Life isn’t just about a lists of chores. Thriving is about all the things that might not be written down on a list, but it’s sure important to have.
